Avec ce film, je souhaitais montrer la difficulté de lire sur les lèvres d’un interlocuteur qui parle en mangeant, autrement dit, la bouche pleine. Je prévoyais faire un film très bref. En tournant le film, j'ai commencé à exprimer mes sentiments à ce sujet. Je n'avais pas prévu ce débordement d'émotions. Finalement, le film est resté tel que je l’avais tourné : il montre avec humour mon désarroi.
With this film, I wanted to show how difficult lip-reading is when the other person is talking while eating (mouth full). I intended to do a very short film. While shooting, I felt more emotionally involved than I expected. This emotional outpour took me by surprise. In the end, I didn’t edit the film: it shows how distraught I am while being funny.
