This video looks at 60 years of Korean international adoption practice by presenting 100 pictures of orphaned Korean children ranging from infants to ten years old. All are considered ‘adoptable’ by Western families. Using two speeches by Malcolm X on the sense of belonging and family names, future adoptees pictures appear. Among those children, now adults, are all hetero? No, about 10% are not. But is it really important?
