Réalisée à partir ce qu’on connaît des interrelations entre les étoiles et leurs planètes, Les Planètes spectrales est une animation 3D contemplative et hypnotique où se déploient des paysages extraterrestres.
De lents mouvements de caméra dévoilent les figures fantasmées de quatre exoplanètes agitées par des cataclysmes provoqués par leurs étoiles et arpente des paysages dominés par leurs atmosphères denses et aux teintes changeantes.
L’animation oscille entre un traitement réaliste proche du dessin animé et une abstraction d’inspiration moderniste.

Based on current knowledge about the interrelations between the stars and their planets, Spectral Planets is a contemplative and hypnotic 3D animation where extraterrestrial landscapes unfold.
Slow travellings reveal the fantasized figures of four exoplanets agitated by cataclysms caused by their stars and survey these landscapes that are dominated by their dense atmospheres and changing hues.
The animation oscillates between a realistic treatment close to a cartoon and an abstraction of modernist inspiration.
