BIO : Sandra Tomaylla

Réalisatrice et photographe, Sandra Tomaylla est une artiste péruvienne basée dans la ville de Québec qui évolue à la frontière de la photographie argentique et du cinéma. À travers des images soigneusement travaillées, elle offre une réalité altérée qui reflète sa manière fantasque de vivre et de voir le monde.

Elle a collaboré avec des artistes dans le milieu musical pour la création de projets photographiques et vidéographiques. Elle a participé à la production et post production de clips musicaux et de son premier court-métrage documentaire produit par SPIRA, marquant ainsi le début de sa carrière de réalisatrice.

Sandra Tomaylla is a Peruvian director and photographer based in Québec City. Her work blurs the line between analog photography and cinema, offering carefully crafted images that reflect her whimsical way of seeing and living in the world.

She has collaborated with musicians on a range of visual projects, from photography to video. Driven by a strong interest in directing, she has taken part in the production and post-production of music videos, as well as her first short documentary produced by SPIRA, marking the beginning of her career as a filmmaker.
