BIO : Melina Young
Melina Young est réalisatrice, conservatrice et formatrice en vidéo indépendante. En 2007, en partenariat avec Heather Hermant et avec la communauté LGBT de Shanghaï, elle a travaillé à la programmation d'oeuvres vidéo et à l'organisation d'un atelier pour les femmes. Les femmes qui ont participé à cet atelier en ont par la suite formé d'autres, avec pour résultat la création de dizaines de vidéos indépendantes en Chine.
Melina Young is an independent video maker, programmer and workshop trainer. In 2007, she worked with partner Heather Hermant with Shanghai LGBT to programme video screenings and lead a workshop for women. Women who were trained at that workshop have gone on to train others and as a result dozens of independent videos have been created in China.
