Liana Paré (Liana TheGhost) est une cinéaste, monteuse et poétesse de l’image basée à Montréal.
Rebelle autodidacte, son parcours cinématographique commence dans des clubs de jazz où, enfant, elle captait le souffle des big bands aux côtés de son père musicien. Des scènes folk underground de Melbourne à l’énergie vibrante des tournées de cirque africain, la caméra de Liana a voyagé loin, insufflant une touche de magie aux images qu’elle capture.

En tant que réalisatrice, ses films traduisent une quête d’authenticité, transformant les instants ignorés ou tus en récits visuels puissants. Nomade dans l’âme, Liana cherche la beauté dans l’indompté et l’inattendu, créant des univers visuels aussi imprévisibles que saisissants.

A self-taught rebel, her cinematic journey began in jazz clubs where, as a child, she captured the breath of big bands alongside her musician father. From the underground folk scenes of Melbourne to the vibrant energy of African circus tours, Liana’s camera has traveled far and wide, infusing a touch of magic into the images she captures.

As a director, her films reflect a search for authenticity, transforming overlooked or unspoken moments into powerful visual stories. A nomad at heart, Liana seeks beauty in the untamed and the unexpected, creating visual worlds that are as unpredictable as they are compelling.
