BIO : Ayana O'Shun aka Tetchena Bellange

Ayana O’Shun est réalisatrice, scénariste et productrice. Son documentaire Le Mythe de la femme noire a remporté le Prix Magnus-Isacsson aux RIDM et fut le documentaire le plus rentable au Québec en 2023. Finaliste aux Prix Gémeaux, il a été présenté dans de nombreux festivals (New York, Cannes, Berlin, etc.). Son film Les Mains Noires a remporté plusieurs prix, dont celui du Meilleur Film Documentaire au Festival PanAfricain de Cannes. Son court-métrage Médecins Sans Résidence fut le plus visionné sur l’ONF. Comédienne, elle a joué dans Les Révoltés, La chute de l’empire américain, District 31 et au théâtre dans Le dernier sacrement.

 
Ayana O’Shun is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer. Her documentary The Myth of the Black Woman won the Magnus-Isacsson Award at RIDM and was the highest-grossing documentary in Quebec in 2023. As an actress, she starred in Les Révoltés, The Fall of the American Empire, District 31, and on stage in Le dernier sacrement.
