Cette édition marque une étape importante, célébrant trois décennies et demie d'expérimentation artistique et d'engagement communautaire. Les œuvres sélectionnées mettent en avant des questions de langage tout en attirant l'attention sur la texture, les surfaces et les formes matérielles. Ensemble, elles explorent les relations entre le soi et le monde naturel, soulignant les pratiques de soin, de résilience et de renouveau.
Le programme rassemble également des œuvres qui examinent de manière critique les langages visuels de la publicité et remettent en question les représentations cinématographiques conventionnelles des femmes. À travers la sélection, les artistes abordent les questions d'identité, de mémoire et de perception, révélant comment les histoires personnelles et collectives se façonnent par des interprétations multiples. Dans le cadre de cette célébration du 35e anniversaire, le programme souligne la vitalité persistante de la vidéo comme médium d'expérimentation artistique, de critique sociale et de narration intime.
This edition marks an important milestone, celebrating three and a half decades of artistic experimentation and community engagement. The selected works foreground questions of language while drawing attention to texture, surfaces, and material forms. Together, the works explore relationships between the self and the natural world, highlighting practices of care, resilience, and renewal.
The program also brings together works that critically examine the visual languages of advertising and challenge conventional cinematic representations of women. Across the selection, artists engage with questions of identity, memory, and perception, revealing how personal and collective histories are shaped through layered interpretations. As part of this 35th anniversary celebration, the program highlights the enduring vitality of video as a medium for artistic experimentation, social critique, and intimate storytelling.
