Erin Sexton

Erin Sexton studied media art at Emily Carr University in Vancouver from 2001 to 2004, and completed her BFA in 2006 at Concordia University in Montreal where she is currently based. Her sound, video, and performance works are improvised and physical, engaging with electromagnetic fields, amplified surfaces, oscillators, video, and feedback to draw new dimensions from matter and energy, space and time. Through these raw materials she invokes an experience both embodied and sublime, moving through immediacy into the beyond.

She has performed across North America and Europe, released several albums, and continues to work solo and in collaboration with other artists.
