Patricia Rivas

Patricia Rivas was born in Montreal in 1984. Her family immigrated from Uruguay.
First educated in cinema and theatre, her artistic projects have shifted to video art, performance and photography.
She has recently graduated from Concordia in Intermedia/Cyberarts, and she is now starting an M.A. in art history at UQAM where her research subject concentrates on grotesque aesthetics in performance art.
