Danielle Raymond
Born in Montreal. Doctoral studies and practical arts at the School of Visual Arts and Media at the University of Quebec at Montreal. A multidisciplinary artist, she has explored video and sound material for over 10 years. Her artistic practice examines memory, autobiography, self-fiction and narrative. Her video work examines the resurgence of memories within empty spaces, landscapes and home. Her work features voices and sounds to create the effect of a presence. The artist has participated in many group exhibitions such as the Biennale of artistic exchange at Ryerson University in Toronto and Montreal Nuit Blanche in 2008. |
