Stéphanie Pihéry

Stéphanie Pihéry is born in Brest, France in 1976. She studied Cinema at the University de Haute-Bretagne in France. In 1996 she moved to Montreal and makes her first video in 2001: SHADI, a documentary shot in India about a Hindu wedding.

By her work with teenagers, her travels all over the world and her video creations, she questions individual responsabilities in the world globalization process; and how ignorance and fear taint our understanding of other cultures.
