Diane Obomsawin

Diane Obomsawin is based in Montreal.
She is a filmmaker and video artist. She works with animation, illustrations for magazines and newspapers. She has had numerous exhibitions and performances. Artist in residence at the National Film Board of Canada (1998-2000).

Awards: National Magazine Award (1991), CICV at the 3e Manifestation Internationale de Vidéo et Art Electronique (Montreal, 1998) and special 'hommage' prize awarded at Festival International du Film sur l'Art (FIFA) 2008.
