The Manitoba Action Committee on the
Status of Women

Formed in 1971 by the women who had
prepared a comprehensive brief for the Royal
commission on the Status of Women in 1967.
A voluntary, non-profit organisation working
through political action, public education
and personnal growth to improve attitudes,
raise issues and remove inequalities
affecting women.
