Gabriela Golder

Born in Buenos Aires, Gabriela Golder is an artist and independent curator. She was artist in residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Canada; the CICV, France; the Schloss Balmoral, Germany and the Wexner Center for the Arts, United States. She has received several awards for her work: 1st prize at Festival Videoformes, France, the Media Art Award from ZKM, Germany; 1st prize at Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales, Buenos Aires.

She is the co-director of CONTINENTE "http://www.continentevideo.com.ar" and teaches Video and New Technologies in universities in Argentina and abroad, such as at the Visual and Media Arts School of UQAM (Montreal) as a guest professor in 2007-08.
