Shayo Detchema

Shayo Detchema is interested in cinema, installation and performance. In Montreal, she has participated in group events such as Inter- at VAV Gallery, L'écho d'un fleuve 3rd edition CONFLUENCE NOCTURNE/Soirée d'art performance, La Radical Queer Semaine 2011/night of short films + emerging and/or local films. Since 2009, she has been organizing VIHsion, a film & performance festival on HIV/aids with a collective of other young filmmakers and artists.
