Shauna Beharry

Interdisciplinary artist since 1984.
Uses her own body and identities as primary
sites for interrogation to explore the female
body in relation to architecture and the
experience of “sacred” , time/ space,
and cultural identity .

Currently in doctoral studies ( philosophy and
religious studies) to learn how to push
critical language further, and question how
gender and the sacred in the art world are
labelled and communicated.
