I'm really afraid of horses. I was never one of these girls who dream of having her own pony or anything like that. Growing up for an early part of my life in Calgary, with the stampede, I was scarred of horses, thinking of how strong and unpredictable they are.
One day, my class went on a field trip to Heritage Park, this cheesy, olden-days theme park in Calgary, and we got to visit the barn where all the horses hung out.
There was this white stallion in the yard, and when I cautiously approached him, a man came out from the barn to introduce him to my class and me. "Do you wanna know what his name is ? he asked me with a mischievous glint in his eye, " yes " I cautiously replied - the man told me to lift his upper lip and look under to find out, I refused, so he reached over and pulled the horses lip back to reveal the letters "M-I-K-E" tattooed on the inside! I almost screamed, this only fed my fear of horses, especially ones with tattoos in their mouths !!
