“Rape Stories" is the personal multi-layered account
of the director's rape. The "first telling" filmed two weeks later
is a recitation of facts and events. The "second telling",
ten years later, reveals the emotional texture
of the experience and reshaping of the event through memory.
In the "third telling", the narration,
one can discern psychological pathways of recognition,
struggle and integration of experience over time... the recovery.
