An overview of the politics of exploitation and breast feeding in Brazil.
With 60% of the population undernourished,
profit-oriented multinationals such as Nestlé continue
to endanger the health of children through the sale of powdered milk.
Convinced by persuasive advertising schemes,
mothers use it instead of natural breast milk.
Due to poverty and poor instruction,
the milk is often over diluted and mixed
with undrinkable water thus creating
unnecessary health problems.
