This video was made for two purposes: as a work of art, and to help those in the tape. The video portrays the illegal take-over of empty fields in Santiago by 5000 persons, mostly women, and the establishment of a squatter' camp. This take-over is the first successful venture of its kind during the military junta, and is one of the more positive transgressions of the junta in 14 years.. |
