In 1985, in São Paulo (Brazil) opened a police station
completely run and operated by plainclothes women.
Today 25 stations are in operation, handling primarily problems
of family violence and sexual assault.
They also offer social and legal assistance
- the first time women in Brazil have had any access to these vital services.
A positive and powerful document.
