The video was made for the exhibition "Sediments", curated by
Taru Elfving. Due to restoration, Turku Art Museum (Finland) was forced to move to a temporary location for a couple of years. After all kinds of difficulties, the museum re-opened again in April 2005. The invited artists were asked to comment on the role and function of the art museum today. "Turku goes Oukkidoukki" uses the world and language of a computer game to create a social space for the art museum. |
